Craig Shapero

Craig Shapero is a 25-year industry leader of the payments industry and founded Fairway Payments in 2009. Prior to Fairway, Craig served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Sage Payments, managing all sales channels including Direct Sales, Independent Agents and ISO’s and an inside Sales group supporting Agent Banks, Associations and other endorsed relationships. Craig was a founder at Network 1 where he served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Craig focused on product development and channel distribution, and was also responsible for developing and managing the Network 1 e-commerce strategy for processing internet bank card and ACH transactions.

 

Gordon Baltzer

Chief Executive Officer

Gordon Baltzer has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Mr. Baltzer has held a variety of positions in these fields, including Principal and Executive Vice President of River Oaks Imaging and Diagnostic, a private network of multi-modality diagnostic imaging centers in Houston, Texas; Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development for Royce Laboratories, Inc., a publicly-held pharmaceutical company in Miami, Florida; Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Apotex, Inc., Canada’s largest producer of generic pharmaceuticals, with head offices in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and Board Member, Secretary and Treasurer of Methapharm Inc., a privately held brand-name pharmaceutical company with offices in Brantford, Ontario and Coral Springs, Florida.

He also has large public audit experience with BDO and KPMG in Toronto, Canada. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada and his Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Charted Accountants.

 

Denis Potvin

Co-Founder

Denis Potvin is a retired Hall of Fame professional ice hockey defenseman and team captain for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League. He is a four-time Stanley cup winner with the New York Islanders in the early 1980s and was recognized as one of the Top 100 NHL players of all time. On the ice, and in his role as color commentator for the Florida Panthers, Denis has witnessed many concussion-related injuries. He is passionate about furthering diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and rehabilitation for concussion through neuroscience research.

Gary Green

Chief Technical Officer

Gary Green is a Director of York Instruments. He was the former founding director of the York Neuroimaging Centre, and Co-director of the Centre for Hyperpolarisation in MRI. He holds the following designation: Emeritus Professor of Neuroimaging, Department of Psychology, University of York.

Some of Professor Green’s research interests included Neuroscience (basic and clinical), dynamics of the brain, and hyperpolarisation of spin in organic molecules, mathematics of non-linear dynamic systems, and non-invasive imaging methods and applications (MRI, MEG and EEG).

John Fulford

Chief Operating Officer

John has over thirty years’ experience growing and developing Technology and Engineering businesses in global marketplaces.  With particular experience in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, delivering multi-million dollar projects with multi-national content.

As a strategic leader John is highly focused on the need to deliver performance and growth with successful teams, to meet business objectives.

 

 

 

Peter Atkinson

Chief Financial Officer

Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant who delivers accounting and consultancy services with BHP Prosper Limited. He has introduced Shared Service Centres for four of the top six media companies in the UK, leading change programmes and managing large and complex projects.

Peter’s accounting practice, which is now part of BHP Prosper, works with dynamic SME businesses and high growth entrepreneurs to get them from where they are to where they want to be. The firm are experts in the field of cloud accounting and are Platinum partners with Xero.

With a background as Finance Director for blue chip companies Peter brings real life experience to bear. He has worked extensively around the world for clients. He has also published a range of articles for the finance and technical press.

 

Steve Chappell

VP Technology

Steve holds functional responsibility for technology and product development. He has spent his career building technical teams and delivering highly-engineered novel solutions, experienced in executive management of both start-up and established ventures.

He has a strong hands-on technical background in quantum technologies, scientific instruments, embedded systems and high-performance computing. He is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Physicist with a first-class honours degree and doctorate in Physics.

 

 

James Petite

VP Business Development

James Petite was the founder of Neuro Systems LLC, a medical equipment manufacturing company that designs, develops, as well as supplies and markets monitoring systems for usage in traumatic brain injury and cerebrovascular disease. He was also a co-founder and President of Novus Monitoring Ltd. UK that was purchased by Integra Neurosciences.

For the last 14 years, Petite has been deeply involved with the clinical and research applications of MEG. Petite was a Research Associate Professor, Psychobiology/Neuroscience Program at Bowdoin College, was head of Clinical Neurophysiology Project Section, Nomos Corporation and was Research Associate, Dept. of Neurology-Neurosurgery, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Dartmouth College.

Other achievements include Research Associate/Head of Neurophysiological Research, Clinical Research Center, University of Virginia Medical School, and Research Associate, Dept. of Neurology, Georgetown University Medical Center.
